Does the Upright charge my phone faster?
The Upright doesn’t modify charging speed. It simply holds your existing MagSafe charger securely in place for a cleaner, more reliable experience.
Can I use non-Apple MagSafe chargers?
Works with Apple MagSafe chargers and most standard third-party options. Some oversized aftermarket chargers may not fit properly.
How does the charger stay in place?
It's held securely using a black micro-suction pad. It works by creating a gentle vacuum when pressure is applied. This keeps the charger in place during use but allows it to be removed cleanly, without leaving any residue. Just press the charger lightly into the pad to activate the grip.

The craftsmanship
I was using a silicone charger holder before this, but the stone and wood combination just seems so intentional in comparison. The weight of the stand keeps my phone upright, whereas with the silicone one it was constantly falling over. Great product, definitely worth the money.

I have a different brand stand for the magsafe and the charger fits in snuggly via compression. This one I got for my wife I think the charger sticks in place. I say "I think" because there was come black stuff inside where charger goes that to touch was soft and slightly sticky, but not like the backside of a piece of tape. The cutout for the round charger is also slightly bigger so when I first put it in I did not have it centered and had to redo. Again, not sure how it is being held in place so I just pushed it in real hard. Lastly, the concrete seems to be dirty but doesn't clean off. It's actually odd to me that it looks and is produced that way.

Just to clarify, the soft black layer is micro-suction, which isn’t sticky like tape but uses tiny suction pockets activated by pressure. Once the charger is pressed in, it stays securely in place and won’t lift when you remove your phone.
Every concrete base is cast by hand in small batches using natural materials, so subtle surface variation is normal, but they shouldn't be dirty.

I was in the market for a new iPhone stand that has a light color base with light oak accent. This fits the bill to the T. The stand arrived well packed and took only seconds to setup.
