Architectural Concrete
Each base is hand-cast into custom molds from a self consolidating Ultra High Performance (UHP) concrete mix, dialed in with low water content and precise admixtures for a dense, smooth surface. The result is a concrete thats closer to polished stone than the concrete you'd see in a driveway or sidewalk. Pigment goes into the mix itself for color that runs all the way through, then a penetrating sealer locks it in without masking the surface.
Wireless Technology
Upright has integrated Qi2.2 technology, the fastest wireless charging standard currently available, delivering up to 25W. Overheat protection, overcharge protection, and foreign-object detection are built into the coil array, so every charge stays safe.
Solid Hardwood
Solid walnut or oak forms every top, milled from FAS lumber, the highest grade available. Color stays true to the wood's natural tone, with black as the only stained exception. A clear, oil-based satin finish protects the surface while keeping the natural grain visible.
Magnetic Alignment
A ring of neodymium magnets, built to the Qi2.2 Magnetic Power Profile (MPP), pulls your phone into alignment the instant it touches down. Even a millimeter of misalignment forces a charger to work harder, wasting energy as heat and slowing the charge. Precise alignment is what keeps charging fast and your phone cool, every time you dock
