Product FAQ
My product arrived damaged. What should I do?
Send us some pictures of the damage at hello@shopmodhaus.com and we'll take care of you. Pictures of both the product and the shipping box are helpful - the more photos the better!
How do I care for my wood products?
Most of our wood products are finished using an eco-friendly hard-wax oil that keeps the natural look & feel of the wood. It's important to not use any chemicals or cleaners.
Using a damp rag with clean water is sufficient for the regular cleaning of your product. Remember that wood and water do not mix, so using a damp rag means your rag should not be “dripping wet” when cleaning a wood surface.
Do you offer customizations?
Yes! We can offer custom dimensions on certain products, but are unable to offer laser engraving services.

Where are your products made?
We design & manufacture all of our products right here in our studio in Austin, TX.
Shipping & Returns
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
Because we're a small business, we're unable to cover the cost for return shipping.
We will create a return label for you, but shipping costs are non-refundable & the cost of return shipping label will be deducted from your refund.
If we made a mistake or you have received a damaged or defective item, please contact us at hello@shopmodhaus.comand we'll make things right.

What shipping service will be used for my order?
We use both UPS & USPS depending on the order size & weight. If your order contains one of our larger products (Desk Shelf) then it will likely be sent via UPS. Smaller items under 2 pounds will likely be sent via USPS.

How much does shipping cost?
The cost of shipping will vary depending on the products, the number of items, and the shipping method you select at checkout. You should be able to fill your shopping cart with the items you'd like and then review the amount before you complete the transaction.

We have the right to change prices at any point for any reason. Additionally, we may not validate pricing discrepancies due to typographical errors on the website. Please note that your full payment is processed upon order placement, regardless of when the product is scheduled for shipment.

When you place an order with us, you confirm that you've reviewed, comprehended, and consented to our terms and conditions. If you have objections to any of our terms and conditions, kindly inform us before placing an order. We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at our discretion and for any reason.
Custom Order Policy
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of custom orders, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for custom made items. If a custom order arrives damaged or does not properly function, we will be happy to replace it after receiving proof of damage - please reach out to us via email.
